FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device for cooling the clinker includes a water bath, which has a rotating reel, means for loading and unloading of clinker. The drum is made of strips of a concave curved shape with side edges described curves of different order and degree of curvature, folded on the concave mandrel in longitudinal and transverse direction to form the edges of curved shape, with each adjacent faces curved at an obtuse angle to one another with the outer and the inner side bands concave curved form with the side edges of the described curves of different order and degree of curvature, and cross each other to form a smooth spiral line main direction on the outer surface and smooth helical grooves on the inner surface of the concave shape of the reel, as well as smooth helical lines the outer surface of the opposite direction and the opposite smooth helical grooves inside the concave-shaped reel. Along full length of the barrel a cone spring with flat cross-section of turns is provided as well as with a device to adjust the turn pitch by the spring tensioning or compression.

EFFECT: increase the cooling efficiency.
