FIELD: pharmacy.
SUBSTANCE: emulsion sterilization method involves gradual preheating of emulsion up to T1 preheating temperature, sterilizing by infusion at ultra high temperature and cooling down of emulsion up to T4 storage temperature while stirring. In this case the temperature T1 is the limit of stability for the said emulsions. The emulsion sterilization step includes heating up to the sterilization temperature T2, holding at the sterilization temperature, and cooling down under vacuum up to the finishing sterilization temperature T3. Furthermore, it discloses a device for continuous sterilization of the described method and an emulsion for use in medical and cosmetic products for skin, sterilized by this method.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows for deep sterilization and continuous processing of emulsion, which provides ability to long-term storage of the agent without addition of preservatives.
