FIELD: surface temperature control.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices and methods for surface temperature control. The surface temperature control device is a thermo-indicating sticker capable of irreversibly recording the fact that at least two threshold temperatures (T1 and T2) have been exceeded. At the same time, the structure of the sticker includes a continuous flexible polymer base, on the front surface of which heat-sensitive materials (TM) are applied, including at least: one or more heat-sensitive materials TM (T1), each of which is configured to irreversibly change the appearance of that zone of the heat-sensitive material and, accordingly, that part of the temperature-sensitive sticker that was heated above the threshold temperature T1, as well as one or more heat-sensitive materials TM (T2), each of which is made with the ability to irreversibly change the appearance of that zone of the heat-sensitive material and, accordingly, that part of the temperature-sensitive sticker that has been heated above the threshold temperature T2. Moreover, the areas with applied heat-sensitive materials ТМ(Т1) and ТМ(Т2) are arranged alternately, so that two or more alternating fragments [ТМ(Т1)-ТМ(Т2)] can be distinguished on at least one straight line. Also disclosed is a method for controlling the surface temperature, with irreversible registration of the fact of exceeding at least two threshold temperatures (T1 and T2), and zoning the surface into areas that differ from each other in the values of the maximum temperature to which they were heated, including allowing to determine the area or areas of the controlled surface, the maximum temperature of which during the control period did not exceed T1, was in the range between the threshold temperatures T1 and T2 or exceeded T2.

EFFECT: increased information content of visual inspections of equipment without the use of measuring instruments, increased safety of operation of various equipment, as well as determination of the fact of the presence of a defect, the degree of its development, localization of the place of development of the defect and determination of the type of defect by a characteristic heating spot due to the possibility of not only determining the fact of excess threshold temperatures, but also accurate zoning of the controlled surface into areas that differ in the maximum temperature values to which they were heated during operation between inspections.
