SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a topical composition. Composition for topical application, containing discrete inner phase, dispersed in continuous external phase, in which one of said phases is water phase, and the other of said phases is an oily phase, characterized in that it contains from 0.3 % to 0.7 % by weight relative to the total weight of the cross-linked copolymer C10-C30 composition alkyl acrylate and acrylic or methacrylic acid and from 2 % to 7 % by weight relative to the total weight of the behenyl alcohol composition, and the composition does not contain surfactants and preserving agents. Method of preparing composition. Use of the composition for cosmetic treatment of skin, mucous membranes and/or hair. Use of the composition for therapeutic and/or preventive treatment of skin, mucous membranes and/or hair.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a composition with the required viscosity of the oil phase after sterilization.
