INFRARED DETECTOR FOR OBJECT PRESENCE IN SURVEILLANCE ZONE DETECTING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G08B13/194

Abstract RU 2616569 C2

FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detecting device and object presence in surveillance zone detecting method. Device contains, at least, one element sensitive to infrared radiation, each is adapted to generate sensor signal, connected to amount of infrared radiation, received from inside surveillance zone by sensitive to infrared radiation element, processing unit and output device for implementation of object and/or attribute determined presence output, output form such. Processing unit is adapted for: obtaining, at least, one sensor signal; generation of, at least, one contrast value by comparing, at least, one sensor signal with, at least, one reference value; determining object presence by evaluating condition relative to said, at least, one contrast value and adjustment of, at least, one reference value so, that negative feedback is applied to, at least, one contrast value.

EFFECT: disclosed device enables improved thermal radiation emitting objects presence detection.
