FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of recovering hydrocarbons from plants for the production of polyolefins. The method comprises the following steps: i) introducing the hydrocarbon inert gas from the unit for separating residual monomers of the polyolefins production machine to the device for condensation and separation, where the hydrocarbons are propylene and optionally propane or ethylene and optionally ethane, and the inert gas is nitrogen, ii ) introducing of liquid nitrogen into the condensing and separating device, iii) condensing of at least a portion of the hydrocarbons from the hydrocarbon inert gas in the device for condensation and separation using the energy of vaporization of liquid nitrogen, iv) separation of the condensed hydrocarbon inert gas to the condensed hydrocarbon product and purified inert gas in the device for condensation and separation, and v) introducing of condensed hydrocarbon product from the device for condensation and separation in the downstream additional separation device, wherein the dissolved gases are separated from the condensed hydrocarbon product. The invention also relates to the device.

EFFECT: group of inventions provide an extremely energy efficient extraction, a relatively simple with regard to apparatus, hydrocarbons, in particular the residual monomer in the production of polyolefins.
