FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for reinforcement, a portion of a longitudinally split long peroneus tendon on the distal basis, which is directed along the Achilles tendon, and then along the through channel formed in the thickness of its proximal end at a distance of 3-5 cm from the Achilles tendon joint. The Achilles tendon and the long peroneus tendon are fixed to each other by sutures proximally at the entrance to and exit from the through the channel, and distally, 3-5 cm apart from the Achilles tendon joint.
EFFECT: method prevents recurrence of tendon injury.
