FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: self-supporting extinguishing media, containing the polymeric binder and the microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent, containing in each microcapsule the polymeric shell and the core, including the gas-carrier, having the boiling temperature from -155 upto +10°C, the combustion delayer and the fire retardant in the weight ratio: the gas-carrier 5-50%, the combustion delayer 30-70%, the fire retardant 1-25%, and the weight ratio of microcapsules to the polymeric binder is from 10:1 upto 1:4.
EFFECT: obtained the self-supporting extinguishing media with the short response time and high mechanical and strength properties.
