SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autonomous fire extinguishing means. A cord for fire extinguishing based on microcapsulated extinguishing agents, containing a shell filled with a composite material in the form of granules with a microcapsulated extinguishing agent, characterized in that the composite material consists of a polymer matrix, microcapsules with a core of extinguishing agent, stabilizer and plasticizer, while nitrocellulose-colloxylin with a nitrogen content of 10.7 to 12.2% is used as a thermally activated polymer matrix, with the following ratio components, weight percentage: thermally activated matrix - nitrocellulose is a colloxylin with a nitrogen content of 10.7 to 12.2% 20-50, microcapsules with a core of a fire extinguishing agent 50-80, while the composite material is obtained using a stabilizer and a plasticizer at the following ratio of components in, weight percentage in terms of nitrocellulose: stabilizer 1-2, plasticizer 0-25.

EFFECT: an increase in the fire extinguishing efficiency, maintaining the product’s operability in conditions of high air humidity (up to 100%) and reducing the toxicity and corrosion activity of the matrix combustion products.
