FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: artificial foot comprises an outer shell with a profiled damping plate connected to the adjustment and connecting assembly with an axial joint having the possibility of interaction with the support element located on the top surface of the profiled damping plate. The adjustment and connecting assembly has abutments arranged to interact respectively with a shock absorber mounted on the support member heel portion and with the upper surface of the support member, coupled by a rounding with a convex radiused portion of the bottom surface of the support member formed for interaction with the upper surface of the profiled damping plate. The heel portion of the support member is formed as a step with a height 2.5-4 times exceeding the maximum thickness of the profiled damping plate which has an extended forepart portion made of fiberglass or carbon fiber, or in the form of interconnected plate members made of fiberglass or CFRP with separating strips of polymeric material.
EFFECT: improved biomechanical characteristics, increased efficiency resource, possibility of active recreation and sports for the disabled of activity level 2-3, with a weight of up to 125 kg.
