FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: artificial foot comprises shin-fixing assembly 1 and outer shell 2 with an insert made of damping profiled plates: upper plate 3, lower plate 4 and additional curved plate 5, and is characterized by upper plate 3 comprising at least one intermediate layer of composite material and at least two heavy composite outer layers. On the heel part of upper plate 3 additional curved plate 5 is located on which shin-fixing assembly 1 is located. Between upper plate 3 and additional curved plate 5, filler 6 based on glass microspheres is filled. Between upper plate 3 and the arcuate part of lower plate 4, shock absorber 7 is mounted. Under the heel end of lower plate 4 H-shaped splitter 8 is placed. Elastic compensator 9 is placed under the toe portion of upper plate 3.

EFFECT: improved biomechanical characteristics of the artificial feet.
