FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: to produce electrical insulating compound, polyolefin - a high-density polyethylene, an inorganic filler with a polar surface - talc, flame retardants with a polar surface - decabromodiphenyl oxide (DBDPO) and antimony oxide, stabilizers with an apolar surface - calcium stearate and richnox 1010 are blended with the following ratio, wt %: 49.6-71.6 of high density polyethylene; 15.0-40.0 of talc; 7-9 of DBDPO; 3-4 of antimony oxide; 0.2 of calcium stearate; 0.2 of richnox 1010. The filler and flame retardants are previously dried at 105°C to completely dry state.
EFFECT: invention provides for a homogeneous electrical insulating compound, to eliminate non-uniform mixing of polymer, filler and flame retardants.
