FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: hip prosthesis, containing a sleeve, a leg tube and a rocker knee mechanism with a support platform, a lower link coupled with the leg tube, front and rear links interconnecting the support pad and the lower link using three rotational and one translational kinematic pairs; a bending and straightening control device, a slider comprising a translational kinematic pair of the rocker knee mechanism formed as a cylindrical hermetic housing filled with working fluid, a rod with a piston rod, and a flexible return knee joint member, uses electrorheological fluid as the working fluid, according to the invention. The piston has through holes, slider body ends have the form of covers connected to the power source. The top cover containst a sensor of magnitude and speed of the piston rod connected to the interactive processor for knee joint bending and straightening control.
EFFECT: increased convenience due to reduced the response time and reduced prosthesis weight with simultaneous structure simplification and durability increase.
