SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the upper structure of railway tracks and is designed to provide high-speed trains. Wind sleeper for high speed railway track comprises a central portion on both sides of which two support sites are located. At the ends of the sleeper two outer sections are arranged. The cross section of the sleeper has two inseparable parts on the central section. The first bottom section includes the first polygon having at least four sides. The second top part includes at least one second polygon. The cross section includes in the second, upper part of the middle sector of the central portion, only one of the second polygon having a conical profile. The number of sides of the polygon tends to infinity.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of reducing the aerodynamic load on the sleeper and prevents the ingress of ballast particles on the sleeper.
