FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: moulded block has core 22x and closed shell 22y embracing the core. Core is made of rubber waste cured particles bound by solidified material. Shell is made of cured mixture of raw rubber with curing agents and is stuck together with material of core 22x. When moulding the block, walls of mould are preliminarily coated with layer of raw rubber, space is filled with particles of cured rubber waste and binding material, then surface is covered with upper layer of mixture of raw rubber and curing agents and pressure is applied to mixture by means of punch. In other version thermally plasticized material in viscoplastic state is used as binding material. Mixture is heated to temperature higher than softening point of binding material. This mixture is distributed under pressure inside mould, and cooled to temperature lower than softening point of binding material. Block, thus moulded, is taken out and subjected to further cooling.
