SUBSTANCE: noted washing machine includes a housing, a drum disposed with the possibility to rotate in the housing, an annular groove provided in the noted drum, and a balancer for balancing the unbalanced load occurring in the noted drum while rotating the drum. The noted balancer includes a balancer housing attached to the noted groove, and comprises an annular channel formed therein, at least one mass disposed in the said channel for movement, and at least one slotted hole formed on an inner surface of the balancer housing and accommodating the noted mass so as to inhibit mass transfer through the channel when the drum rotation speed is within a predetermined range of rotation frequency. The slotted hole comprises the first support sections formed on both its ends, and the second bearing section formed between the noted first support sections, and extending inwardly of the noted channel.
