SUBSTANCE: regenerative converter (100) includes the power conversion unit (12), which includes a plurality of switching elements, the alternating current output (11) connected to the AC side of the power conversion unit (12), the first output (P1), connected to one end of the power conversion unit (12) on the DC side, the second terminal (P2) connected to one end of the power conversion unit (12) on the DC side through the backflow-preventing element, and the third terminal N connected to the other end of the power conversion unit (12) on the DC side, and can operate as a partly regenerative converter and as a completely regenerative converter due to switching the connections of the irst output (P1), the second output (P2) and the third output (N) in order to achieve the additional reducing of its cost.

EFFECT: providing a sufficient power level at energy recovery.
