FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to drives of coaxial aircraft rotors. Device to drive coaxial rotors of a rotorcraft consists of power cylinders (1), pistons (2) of which via rods (3) freely rest against swinging conical gear wheels (4) with number of teeth "n". Wheels (4) are engaged with pairs of coaxial conical gears (5) and (6). Device contains two coaxial shafts - central (7) and tubular (8) ones. On central shaft (7) there is gear wheel (9) with number of teeth “n+1”, and on the opposite side of the transmission on tubular shaft (8) there is gear wheel (5) with number of teeth “n-1”. Wheels (5) and (9) are engaged with gear wheels (4).
EFFECT: provided is reduced aircraft weight and simplified design.
