FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for extracting the bituminous binder is carried out from solutions and emulsions in which the weight ratio of the binder to the solvent is 1:0.3-10, and the solvent is water or a hydrocarbon solvent having a boiling point not higher than 300°C, or a mixture thereof. The method includes an initial step of distilling off the solvent, subsequent condensation of the solvent, and then recovering and analyzing the bituminous binder, whereby distillation and condensation of the solvent is carried out on a rotary-film evaporator in the following stepwise temperature-time regime: 1 hour with a uniform increase in temperature from 60 to 120°C (25 mm Hg), 1 hour with a uniform increase in temperature from 120 to 160°C (25 mm Hg), 2-4 hours at 160°C (1-5 mm Hg).

EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out the isolation of binders without changing their properties, to measure, examine and control the finished product, taken in the required quantities, for compliance with its current standards.
