FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dimensional pipes ends heating, their hot landing on a horizontal forging machine, cooling and tempering. The pipes ends are landed in two junctions with a deformation degree at the first junction 36-42%, then the pipe end is chilled to a temperature of 900-920°C with a water-air mixture, and the second junction is made with a deformation of 10-12%.
EFFECT: providing increased mechanical properties and accuracy of pipe geometric dimensions.
