FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: ends of copper pipe are heated up to Ac3+(50÷430)°C, subject to hot upset on horizontal forging machine and from temperature of forging it is cooled on air, then it is heated pipe at a rate 90-200°C/s by means of passing of current by all the volume of pipe up to tempering temperature 300-700°C, it is isolated 10-15 min and cooled.
EFFECT: receiving of pipes with close-grained homogeneous structure lengthwise and section-wise and high strength properties.
