SYSTEM FOR SWELLING EFFICIENCY INCREASING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E21B33/12

Abstract RU 2617815 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: swellable system reacting with the fluid stream cotains a product that includes swellable material operatively configured to swell under the influence of the fluid flow. The fluid is water-based and contains metal cations of dissolved salts. The filtering material is placed with the swellable material and adapted to operably remove polyvalent cations from the fluid flow prior to impact on the swelling material. The filtering material comprises graphene-based material, which includes at least one functional group configured to operably capture multivalent cations. The filtering material and the swellable material are homogeneously mixed in the product.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of swelling under different conditions.
