SUBSTANCE: proposed method of obtaining extracellular metabolite preparation of probiotic bacterial strain Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856, methods for controlling the growth and viability of microbial pathogens, the method for inhibiting the formation of microbial biofilm formation, as well as a method for preventing the further accumulation of biofilm Streptococcus mutans and the resulting reduction in pH. Inoculated with Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 in broth culture medium. Fermentation is carried out, the fermentation broth is centrifuged, the supernatant was concentrated, cooled acetone was added and stirred, followed by centrifugation were incubated, harvested saturated 60% acetone supernatant was concentrated using a rotary evaporator, adjusted to pH 5, filtered and stored at -20°C either carried lyophilization or spray drying, or drying on a pallet. The resulting preparation extracellular metabolite Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856, alone or in combination with a synergistic mixture of preservatives inhibits the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus mutans, Propionibacterium acnes, Bacillus cereus and Salmonella abony and microbial biofilm formation. Preservatives mixture comprises about 61 wt %/wt thymol, 38% monolaurin and 1 wt %/wt magnolol obtained from supercritical fluid extracts Magnolia officinalis.
