FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: poultry feeding and watering and the influence of light on it are carried out. Agricultural poultry females are kept under LED lighting with the gradual reduction of daylight hours from 16 hours at 4 weeks of age to 8 hours at 26 weeks of age during the growing period, with the subsequent increase in daylight hours during the laying period to 16 hours by the 68-week-old age of the poultry. The females are then paired with males grown under fluorescent lighting.
EFFECT: reducing the electricity costs and increasing the reproductive qualities of poultry males and females.
