SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to a method for keeping chickens, and can be used in poultry farming for keeping poultry using new resource-conserving sources, methods, and modes of lighting. Method is aimed at keeping chickens in cage and outdoor settings using LED-based lighting with an illumination pulsation frequency of the LED lamps of 488 Hz or higher.
EFFECT: improvement in the safety, egg-laying capacity, and egg quality of chickens with a reduction in feed consumption per unit of products.
