FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition of positive electrode for secondary battery with nonaqueous electrolyte, comprising: complex lithium and transition metal oxide represented by the general formula of LiaNi1-x-yCoxM1yWzM2wO2; (1.0≤a≤1.5, 0≤x≤0.5, 0≤y≤0.5, 0.002≤z≤0.03, 0≤w≤0.02, 0≤x+y≤0.7, M1 means at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Mn and Al, M2 means at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ti, Mg, Ta, Nb and Mo); and boron starting compound.Wherein at least a part of complex lithium and transition metal oxide forms a physical and/or chemical bond with at least a part of the boron starting compound by at least mixing a complex lithium and transition metal oxide and boron starting compound, wherein the boron starting compound preferably represents at least one compound selected from the group consisting of oxygenated boron acids and salts of oxygenated boron acids, and wherein the ratio of elemental boron relative to complex lithium and transition metal oxide is 0.5 mol. % to 1.5 mol. %. The invention also relates to a method of composition production and to the secondary battery.
EFFECT: composition enables to improve the properties of battery output power and suppress the increase in viscosity of positive electrode suspension.
