FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rapid-fire ship artillery guns of medium caliber. Automatic gun feeder consists of two car conveyors arranged on the mount trunnion plates providing movement of each car conveyor load cars with containers placed on them along an arc around the axis of swinging. In each car conveyor a cardan type haulage chain, the links of which are interconnected with crossing each other axes, is closed about appropriate trunnion plate and envelopes two sprockets installed in the bearings. Car conveyors are made able to transmit motion from one driving motor located at the mount to the two sprockets of each of those conveyors by means of a branched transmission containing a gear box, the high speed shaft of which via a cardan shaft is connected with the driving motor. Branched transmission also comprises two kinematic chains each having a conical gear pair with appropriate shafts, by means of which one of the two sprockets of each car conveyor is connected to a low-speed shaft of the gear box. Kinematic chain comprises a cylindrical gear pair with a cardan shaft, by means of which in each car conveyor both sprockets are interconnected.
EFFECT: provided is higher reliability of the ship artillery gun.
