FIELD: system for placing and supplying ammunition for a shipborne artillery installation.
SUBSTANCE: system includes a suspension located under the rotary machine of the artillery mount, a feeder and accumulator accommodating each part of ammunition, and a subsystem for supplying ammunition to the rotary machine. The feeder contains a circular array of radially arranged box magazines with step feeders and a rotary hub, with which the box magazines are rigidly connected. The rotary hub drive is rigidly fixed relative to the ship's hull and ensures its rotation relative to the rotary machine at a given angular velocity. The accumulator contains a rotary platform with retractable cassettes located radially on it, a rotary platform drive and a periodic elevator for moving ammo from the accumulator to the feeder. The subsystem for supplying ammunition to the rotary machine, one-sided or two-sided, contains, respectively, one or two chain elevators, with a rammer for sending ammo into the elevator guide tube. The suspension is made divided into upper and lower parts, connected movably with the possibility of relative rotation, while the upper part of the suspension is attached to the rotary machine, the lower part of the suspension is fixed from rotation relative to the ship's barbette by jet rods. In box magazines, ammo is placed in two rows. Under the action of the step feeder, both rows move simultaneously. The connection of box magazines with a rotary hub is configured to enable quick release.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of firing in continuous bursts, the convenience of maintenance and repair of components and mechanisms of the system for placing and supplying ammunition to a ship artillery installation.
