FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: audio objects encoder includes a receiver which receives N audio objects. The mixer mixes N audio objects into M audio channels, and channels circuit receives K audio channels from M audio channels, K = 1, 2, and K<M. The parameters circuit generates parameters of upmixing of audio objects for at least a part of each of N audio objects relative to K audio channels, and the output circuit generates output data stream having parameters of upmixing of audio objects and M audio channels. The decoder of audio objects receives the data stream and includes a channel circuit receiving K audio channels from downmixing of M channels; and the decoder of objects for forming at least part of each of N audio objects by upmixing of K audio channels on the basis of parameters of upmixing of audio objects.

EFFECT: increase of efficiency of coding and decoding of audio objects.
