FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves reforestation felling, removing felled trees off-site and suppressing unwanted vegetation, and planting commercially valuable forest crops. The reforestation felling is carried out with leaving the stumps even with the soil surface. After removing the felled trees off-site, in late autumn litter manure is scattered on the soil surface, leaving its upper level above the stumps surface, and in winter snow accumulates on its surface, and in early spring, before the snow melting, it is covered with water-reteaining airtight material. Before the start of silvicultural works, the water-retaining airtight material is removed. After the soil surface area is dried, the planting of commercially valuable forest crops is carried out.
EFFECT: improving the quality of suppressing unwanted vegetation and reducing the cost of works.
