FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: separator is intended for fuel gas purification. The separator contains a vertical cylinder case, a horizontal cover, an inlet, outlet and drain branch pipes, a deflector, a vertical cylindrical stack of flat bent plates forming slot-hole channels and arranged aligned with the case and outlet branch pipe located above its top end face to form a circular labyrinth. The plates cylinder stack inside accommodates an upturned hollow truncated cone with its base fixed at the level of the aforesaid stack upper end face. The said cone apex accommodates a tapered dummy bottom forming an annular clearance with the separator case inner surface and a tapered bottom arranged at the level of the aforesaid stack lower end face to form an annular clearance with the said stack inner surface. Between the tapered bottom and tapered dummy bottom, radial plate-type rotating gas flow arresters are arranged. The upturned hollow truncated cone's lower part has flanged out holes whereto adjoin helical-screw plates attached on the case outer surface and oriented gas streamwise.

EFFECT: higher efficiency purification, simple design and improved manufacturability.
