FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device of jug type contains a body in the form of a jug, including a cylindrical body part, having a bottom and a wall to divide the inner space of the body part, jug lid, covering the open upper end of the jug body in a liquid-tight way, and cartridge for water purification, removably attachable to the open part for the fixing in the wall. The body part is formed in the shape, at which the upper edge of the cross section has an approximately circular shape, and the bottom has a rectangular shape. The water purification cartridge contains the material for the water purification, intended for the water treatment, a body element of cylindrical form, wherein the material for water purification is located. The discharging outlet for the purified water is formed at the bottom of the body element , and the upper edge of the body element is opened. The intake openings for receiving the water to be treated are formed in the upper part of the body element side wall in the water purification cartridge.
EFFECT: efficiency increase of the cartridge filling with water purification material, convenience of storage.
