SUBSTANCE: water purification cartridge 4 comprises a main body 6 and a cover body 7. The main body 6 is cylindrical with a bottom and an opening 61 at an upper end in the direction of the axis of the container, accommodates the filter material 10 and the porous filtration membrane 11 and comprises an inlet for raw water 61 on the upper cylindrical portion of the main body 6. The lid body 7 comprises an attachment portion for being detachably mounted in an opening at the upper end of the main body and is configured to close the opening at the upper end of the main body. The water purification device comprises a water purification cartridge 4, an outer container 2 containing a reservoir for purified water 2a, and an inner container 3 containing a raw water tank 3a. A bottom opening 3c for the cartridge 4 is formed on the bottom wall 3b of the inner container 3. In the bottom hole 3 c the main body 6 is set. Filter material 10 for use in cartridge 4 for water purification contains at least one adsorber, selected from the cation exchange resin and activated charcoal, and contained in this product package. EFFECT: invention enables to increase the content of the filter material, minimizing the increase in cartridge and preventing decline in purified water tank.
