FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns water treatment devices, mainly for waterworks water. The device includes a case in the form of a jar, bottom part of which is intended for purified water, and top part features a tank for treated water. Removable cartridge filled with filtering material is installed axially at the tank bottom. The device features cartridge lifetime indicator in the form of a metering tank with gauged hole for treated water inlet and air discharge hole, the metering tank mounted in the case vertically, so that each time when the tank is filled by treated water a proportional volume of treated water passes to collector through a hole gauged to collect given water volume proportional to secured water volume treated by the cartridge. The device is simple in construction and operation.
