SUBSTANCE: iron with a steam generator comprises a steam path through which steam passes and which has the first portion (13), the second portion (16) extending from the first portion, the transition portion between geometric shapes of the first partortion and the second portion. In the steam path transition portion from the first portion to the second portion there is the flow stabilizing element (24, 35, 38) adapted to minimize whirlwind and/or turbulence, and the third portion (18) extending from the second portion (16). For transient steam path portion from the second portion (16) in the third portion (18) extends the flow stabilizing element (24), wherein the steam path rotates so that the steam path in the second portion extends in a direction opposite to the first portion.
EFFECT: minimized noise generation in the transition region and resistance to flow in the steam path when steam is passing the steam path.
