FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water chamber (6) of a steamer comprising a housing (8) having a base, an opening (15) in a housing, through which water can be supplied to the water chamber and a wall (23) extending from the housing to the water chamber for forming a channel (25) in the water chamber extending from the opening. The distance between the upper edge level of the lower end (24) of the wall and the base is less than the distance between the lower edge level (21) of the opening and the base, so that water is restricted from passing through the channel from the water chamber when the water chamber is tilted from its normal working orientation. The air outlet (26) is formed in the wall (23) to allow air exhaust when water is supplied to the water chamber (6) through the opening (15). The invention also relates to a base unit of a steamer, a clothes steamer and an iron with a steam system.
EFFECT: prevent water from splashing out of the water chamber.
