SUBSTANCE: present application relates to steam head (30) of an iron. Steam head (30) of the iron has steam inlet (36), steam channel (40), and at least one vapor outlet through which steam exits the steam head of the iron. Steam duct (40) has first steam flow section (50) and second steam flow section (60). First steam flow section (50) forms an indirect flow path between steam inlet (36) and second steam flow section (60). Second steam flow section (60) forms a vortex flow path between first steam flow section (50) and at least one steam outlet. This application also relates to iron (10) with a steam system having steam head (30) of an iron.
EFFECT: this invention facilitates the removal of any water droplets, for example formed by condensation, from a vapor stream passing through the steam iron head from the steam inlet to at least one steam outlet.
