FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device for melting snow comprises a bath with a grating at the top to receive and melt the snow mass and an opening to drain melted water, burners, gas cylinders with a pressure regulator, a gas pipeline and an igniter. The gas burners with an electric igniter are installed below the bath bottom, and the upper and the lower plane bath bottom surfaces have a slope down to the right or to the left in the vertical plane, against its horizontal longitudinal symmetry axis, towards the bath side wall not reaching the bottom. An openable fixed hatch, adjacent to the ends of the front and rear bath walls, is hinged to the lower edge of the side wall, in the bottom of which the plate is fixed from inside overlapped along the bath length, between the lower edge of which and the bath bottom there is a slit hole along the length thereof. Loosening fixation, the plate can be moved vertically relative to the board and modify the slit hole height. A chamber for melted water with a drain hole, is located under the bath bottom, below the gas burners.
EFFECT: design simplification, reduced cost of installation and operation.
