FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of streets and roads from snow mass and can be used in urban economy, transportation and industrial enterprises, and other territories. The snow melter contains a bath with a grate in the upper part for receiving and melting the snow mass and a drain hole for melt water, burners, gas cylinders with a pressure adjuster, a gas pipe and an igniter. The gas burners with electric ignitor are installed under the bath bottom. The bath bottom is in the form of profiled sheet with corrugations of waves of rectangular shape, which protrusions and recesses are perpendicular to the bath longitudinal axis. The bottom has an incline to the right or to the left downwards the vertical plane to the side reaching said protrusions of the bath wall bottom. A chamber for meltwater with a drain hole is located under the bath bottom below the gas burners.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced installation and operation costs, increased installation effectiveness.
