FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method involves attack threat detection of the protected object, determination of the attack direction, and formation of the interference directed radiation pulses. The threat attack is determined by radar means, the interference radiation is directed immediately at the attacking element and activated before the irradiation of the protected object by the laser target designator. The interference radiation is formed as a sequence of pulses of incoherent continuous spectrum radiation with a repetition frequency of, at least, 100 Hz.
