SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for protecting important industrial, state and military facilities from guided weapons with optic electronic guidance systems by creating a pulsed optical interference. Method involves registering irradiating laser pulses, decoding a sequence of irradiating laser pulses, generation of a sequence of interfering radiation pulses with a period equal to T-Δt, the formation of interference radiation in the form of a beam using a projector system and the direction of interfering radiation in space so as to disorient the laser-guided optical-electronic systems in the course of their operation. Pulses of interfering radiation are generated in the form of incoherent optical radiation of a continuous spectrum, overlapping the region of the spectral sensitivity of the optical-electronic system. Magnitude Δt and the exposure time of the attacking element is chosen from the ratios.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of the protection of objects.
