METHOD FOR X-RAY DIAGNOSIS OF RECURRENT GENITALIA TUMORS FOR PATIENTS PREVIOUSLY UNDERGONE SUPRAVAGINAL HYSTERECTOMY WITH OR WITHOUT APPENDAGES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B6/00 A61M36/04 A61B17/28

Abstract RU 2619437 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: for X-ray diagnosis of recurrent genitalia tumors for patients after supravaginal hysterectomy with or without appendages, anterior or posterior lip of the cervix stump is captured using bullet forceps after a bimanual examination, then a thin probe is used to determine the length and direction of the cervical canal, taked into account while selecting the inclination angle and the depth of needle insertion into the anterior or posterior wall of the stump. Then a water-soluble radiocontrast agent is inserted through the needle so that its volume reached 4-5 ml to the 10th second of introduction. The first picture is taken at the 10th second after the start of injection. If a hyper- or normal vascular uterine stump vascular shadow is rendered, absence of recurrent formation is ascertained. If a hypervascular rounded shadow with clear contours, intimately connected to the abdominal stump vascular shadow, with stagnant varicose parallel receptacles, repeating the course of the lower branches of uterine veins, is visualized, a recurrent tumor is diagnosed. If a normal vascular shadow of the abdominal part of the uterus stump with a portion of modified varicose vessels, that envelope the hypovascular mass lesion, is visualized, a cyst is diagnosed. If a venous network of the ovarian plexus is boosted as a small-loop vascular pattern combined with expanded varicose veins, a tubo-ovarian formation of inflammatory genesis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: improved topical and differential diagnosis of recurrent genital tumors for this group of patients.
