FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: method for spacecraft containing a working gas tank, determines the effective exit area of sudden leakage resulting from sudden mechanical shock effect on pressurized container of meteor or anthropogenic particle; the abovementioned leakage formation timepoint; point of time when the gas pressure in the pressurized container is reduced to the minimum permissible value providing spacecraft operation.
EFFECT: provision of reliable determination of the sudden leak exit area value, diagnosis and prediction of spacecraft normal functioning authentic period and timely decisions on the spacecrafttransfer from a fixed orbit to a disposal orbit.
