SUBSTANCE: combustion method includes supplying fuel to a combustion chamber, it arson in the presence of atmospheric air, followed by catalytic combustion without access of air. Fuel combustion is carried out in two stages, the first stage comprises burning a fuel-air mixture to form saturated vapour in the steam generator, the second stage comprises pyrolysis of water steam while burning fuel without air access. Water steam is fed into the boiler combustion chamber at a temperature of 400-960°C and atmospheric pressure, and iron, nickel and / or oxides is used as a catalyst of iron, nickel and/or their oxides placed on the grate.
EFFECT: intensification of combustion and heat exchange processes, increased fuel combustion efficiency with reduced harmful emissions into atmosphere.
