FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: filter element comprises a perforated hollow rigid rod with the wound main bulky yarn of synthetic fibers making a filtration layer in the form of a rhombic winding consisting of yarns coils stacked with variable density, decreasing towards the edge of the filtration element, coils of additional monofilament yarn with rectangular cross section in the form of a honeycomb winding located between the main yarn coils placed at intervals of 0.1÷0.5 of additional yarn width.

EFFECT: increased dirt capacity and service life of the filtration element.
