FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for drinking water treatment. Proposed filtration element is made up of coil comprises perforated central cartridge with lengthwise ribs made on outer surface and extensions that make imperforated tight cylindrical container with its inlet communicated with inner space of central cartridge perforated section and outlet communicated via postfilter web with filtration piping branch pipe. Filtration web represents multilayer crossed coil of abraded yarn made solely on said perforated section. Note here that inner layers of filtration web adjoining central cartridge are made up of multilayer crossed coil of abraded synthetic textured multifilament yarn with, mainly, loop freeze. Outer layers of filtration web represent coiled crossed multilayer ion-exchange fiber yarn. Inner space of central cartridge confined by water-permeable postfilter web on expansion side while, on opposite side, it is confined by central cartridge bottom or filter piping mount plug filled with granulated sorbent.
EFFECT: efficient water cleaning of mechanical impurities, dissolved and colloidal admixtures of organic and inorganic origin.
