FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation aids of mobile objects, in particular aircrafts, namely to methods and devices for errors estimation and correction of the positioning absolute coordinates, altitude and vertical speed of the inertial navigation system (INS). The essential difference of this method is conversion of the measurements incoming with high frequency to a frequency with which the aircraft crosses the boundaries of a discrete single reference heights massif. Another important distinction of this method is the accumulation of the transformed measurements and formation measurement unit of the length Nb. Another significant difference of the method is the sliding window implementation along the misclosure arrays, arrays grouping according to Ng elements. The essential device difference is the introduction of the conversion unit, accumulation unit, misclosure squares array summation unit, misclosure square arrays unit and misclosure square arrays groups storage unit, which improves processing efficiency and reduces the performance requirements of the computer due to the introduction of new actions and operations.

EFFECT: reduction in computational complexity and performance requirements of the computer.
