SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video decoding and, in particular, to the device for separating a frame number and / or the counter of the image sequences (POC) for multi-view video coding and decoding (MVC). The said technical result is achieved when the device comprises a decoder for decoding at least one of at least two kinds of corresponding multi-view video content, wherein the said decoder decodes at least one of at least two kinds thereof using redefined variables in creating a standard list of reference pictures and reordering the reference picture list, wherein at least one kind of information about the number and type of the identifier is used to redefine the variables.
EFFECT: invention is a method and device for the separation of the frame numbers and the POC for the MVC.
