FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrophilic conjugates of formula I, including fragments of 2,6-diissbornyl-4-methylenephenol and 2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium chloride linked to starch by an ether linkage, and to a process for their preparation that are useful in medicine:
where R = H, A, CH2CH(OH)CH2N(CH3)3. The content of fragment A in a polymer of 0.1 to 5.0 wt %. The fragment of 2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium chloride grafted with at least one hydroxyl group of mentioned polysaccharide. Starch alkylation product, 2-hydroxyethyl or 2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium chloride starch 4-bromomethyl-2,6-diizobornilphenol prepared by alkylation of 4-bromomethyl-2,6-diizzbornilphenol. The reaction is carried out in DMSO in two steps, the first step is carried out at a temperature of 16÷22°C to dissolve the alkylating reagent, the second step is conducted at a temperature of 35÷40°C to obtain the desired product, and the isolation of the desired product is carried out by precipitation by adding a fivefold excess of isopropyl alcohol followed by washing and drying the precipitated hydrophilic conjugate. Get a new water-soluble conjugate of modified starch and an effective way to obtain it.
