SUBSTANCE: means is a product of the chemical modification of 2-hydroxyethylated starch (O-(2-hydroxyethyl)-(1→4)-α-D-glucan) with a molecular weight of 200 kDa, fragments of 2,6-diisobornyl-4-methylenephenol (4-hydroxy-3,5-di(1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-exo-2-yl)benzyl), wherein the covalently bound fragment of 2,6-diisobornyl-4-methylenephenol content in the said product may be from 0.5 to 6.0 wt %.
EFFECT: invention can be used to increase cerebral blood flow under the conditions of total transient ischemia with reperfusion.
